Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and budget forecasts.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and data.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Support the finance team with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
