Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts payable/receivable processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Assist in general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Process payroll for multiple client entities using QuickBooks Online
- Support tax preparation activities including document organization
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client interaction abilities
