Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and ensure all entries are accurate and timely during the night shift.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure complete data integrity.
- Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets for review by the senior management team.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation.
- Maintain and update the company’s general ledger system and financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night hours.
- Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
