Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries for nightly closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Manage payroll processing for a select group of clients.
- Respond to client inquiries via email during the evening hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a Night Shift (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or relevant certification (e.g., CPB) preferred.
