Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Review and audit invoices, receipts, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial records and tax documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the night shift.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
