Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, with high accuracy during night hours.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved before morning processing.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries for the current month's financial activities.
- Review and audit invoices and receipts for compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Generate and distribute nightly financial reports to the management team.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records in an organized, secure system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless handover of financial data and open issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
