We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Shift Accountant to join our finance team in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities
- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial audits.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correct and properly classified.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a night shift setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
