Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and financial statements
- Process and record journal entries for after-hours transactions
- Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for leadership review
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during overnight engagements
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Respond to urgent financial inquiries during shift hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Experience with night shift or remote financial operations preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
