Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and tax purposes.
- Process payroll for all employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Reconcile credit card statements and other general ledger accounts.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros preferred).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
