Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements and monthly reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage petty cash funds.
- Assist with the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
