We are looking for a proactive individual who can handle the full cycle of bookkeeping with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing, including time tracking and tax filings for multiple clients.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
