Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and variance reporting to assess business performance and profitability.
- Develop accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and manage annual budgets and strategic operating plans.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial data to drive operational improvements.
- Prepare clear, concise, and data-driven presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
- Maintain and improve internal financial reporting systems and data integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and SQL.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly.
