The Role
As a Financial Analyst at Apex, you will serve as a key partner to leadership, translating complex data into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support long-term strategic planning and capital allocation.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership with high accuracy and clarity.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, variances, and internal performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with various department heads.
- Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and budgets, providing recommendations for corrective action.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives and process efficiencies to optimize the company's financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA, Macros, and Pivot Tables) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
- CFA or CPA designation is a significant plus.
