Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of equipment inventory and usage logs to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs related to equipment safety, handling, and disposal.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations, preparing detailed reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the legal and operations teams to interpret complex regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on proper equipment procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor changes in industry regulations and update compliance protocols accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related regulatory role.
- Experience with equipment management systems and regulatory documentation is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and local California compliance laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
