Responsibilities
- Conduct Regular Audits: Perform comprehensive internal and external audits to ensure adherence to compliance policies and regulatory standards.
- Policy Management: Develop, update, and enforce internal policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure operational excellence.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for local, state, and federal regulatory bodies, representing the company during inspections.
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for staff to ensure awareness of compliance requirements and safety protocols.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate compliance breaches or safety incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and submit them to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when reviewing documentation and analyzing data.
