As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. We offer comprehensive training on industry-standard software, making this an ideal position for recent graduates or career changers looking to break into the accounting sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist with month-end close processes and generate basic financial reports.
- Organize and maintain accurate digital and physical financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare basic tax documentation and support the senior accounting team during tax season.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input and categorize financial data.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets) is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
