What You’ll Do:
As our Entry-Level Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial health. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to learn the ropes of modern bookkeeping while handling essential daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and trial balances.
- Process invoices, ensure timely payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience or internship in accounting is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team.
