As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, data entry, and reconciliation processes.
Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with basic payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input and categorize financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
