Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Maintain and organize financial records and ledgers using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Prepare basic financial reports and expense summaries for management review.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and professional demeanor.
