Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Process and organize invoices, ensuring all data is entered correctly into our accounting software.
- Prepare basic financial reports and maintain organized digital filing systems.
- Support the senior accounting team with data analysis and ad-hoc projects.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and standard procedures.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- No prior bookkeeping experience required; we provide full training.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Reliable computer access and a quiet workspace (remote/hybrid hybrid option available).
- Basic understanding of math and financial concepts is preferred.
