Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and accounts payable/receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks Online.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger entries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
