Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings using ADP/QuickBooks systems
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Support month-end/year-end closing procedures with senior accountants
- Implement internal controls for transactional accuracy
- Assist in audits by preparing documentation and schedules
- Update and maintain financial databases with real-time precision
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive financial matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with adaptability
- 1-2 years bookkeeping internship or clerical experience preferred
