Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and review invoices for accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by compiling necessary schedules and reports.
- Assist external auditors with the collection of financial documentation and responses to inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
