Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Optimize payment workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Analyze financial data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment strategies
- Maintain organized digital records for audit readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-sized companies
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certification in accounts payable (e.g., CAPP) highly desirable
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
