Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Prepare and maintain financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal audit schedules.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/CPA equivalent).
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a recent graduate with an internship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
