Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to the general ledger.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Maintain and update the company’s fixed asset register.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years of experience is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
