Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting preparation
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries
- Support tax filing documentation and compliance requirements
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain organized financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and analysis
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Excel) for data management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions, formulas, data entry)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- QuickBooks knowledge preferred but not required
