Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices (A/P) with a focus on accuracy and timely posting to the general ledger.
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor files in our accounting system.
- Prepare and analyze month-end and year-end closing schedules related to accounts payable.
- Review and approve expense reports in compliance with company policy.
- Assist in the implementation of AP automation tools and process improvements.
- Handle ad-hoc accounting projects and financial reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is highly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
