Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax filings are completed accurately.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal accounting regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (strong Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
