Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for new and existing clients, analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and credit history.
- Monitor the credit portfolio to identify potential delinquencies and recommend remediation strategies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit reports, memorandums, and recommendations for credit committees.
- Utilize financial modeling and spreadsheet software to project financial performance and creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan origination processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting credit lending.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement analysis, and credit scoring models.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
