Job Summary

As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of our clients, managing portfolio risk, and providing actionable insights to drive lending decisions. You will work closely with underwriting teams to ensure our lending standards are met while supporting business expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis on new and existing clients, including reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow reports.
  • Assess borrower creditworthiness and risk profiles to recommend appropriate lending limits and terms.
  • Develop and maintain credit scoring models and internal reporting tools using Excel and SQL.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of potential defaults.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to resolve complex credit issues and structure deals.
  • Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for senior management and board approval.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators affecting credit risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk management.
