Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and conduct variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
