Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk and creditworthiness.
- Develop credit memos and recommendations for credit approvals, renewals, or declines based on established policies.
- Monitor and manage existing accounts, identifying early warning signs of financial distress.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and external partners regarding portfolio performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, and internal teams to resolve credit issues.
- Stay updated on market trends and economic indicators that may impact credit risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
