Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with precision.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and financial audits.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Perform month-end close procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
