Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions on a weekly basis.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and budget reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate timekeeping and tax deductions are handled correctly.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Software Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines consistently, especially regarding weekly reporting cycles.
