The Role:
Apex Financial Solutions is looking for a reliable Bookkeeper to handle daily financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate ledgers, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports. If you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documents.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist the accounting manager with ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the night shift.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
