Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely weekly disbursements for all employees.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including adjusting entries and accruals.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and preparing balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify areas for financial process improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax filing procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
