Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- AP/AR Management: Process accounts payable invoices and manage accounts receivable collections efficiently.
- Bookkeeping Systems: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to record transactions and manage ledgers.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, including time tracking and tax filings where necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Pro, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
