Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform periodic audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
