As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring our books are always up to date. This is an immediate hire position, allowing you to start contributing to our success right away.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process payroll and manage employee time tracking.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
