We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, ensuring accuracy in our financial records and providing the leadership team with the data they need to make informed decisions. You will work closely with our accounting software and have the autonomy to streamline our financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure all balances are correct.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on a timely basis using [Software Name, e.g., QuickBooks Online].
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Experience with Sage 50 or NetSuite is a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
