Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and process monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation compliance.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain organized financial filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with audit preparation and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with AP/AR workflows and payroll systems.
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
