Responsibilities
- Invoice Generation & Processing: Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring all billing details are correct and follow company policies.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and process payments received via various methods (checks, electronic transfers).
- Reconciliation: Reconcile billing statements with general ledgers and bank statements to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze monthly billing reports to identify trends, errors, or opportunities for process improvement.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update billing records in our ERP and CRM software, ensuring all data is current and secure.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain billing issues clearly to non-financial staff and clients.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
