Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 500+ healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and appeals through strategic communication with payers
- Analyze aging reports to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance and documentation accuracy
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR system to enhance billing efficiency
- Conduct monthly audits to maintain HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding with 95% accuracy rate
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Clearinghouse platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends in denial patterns
- Excellent communication skills for resolving complex payer issues
