Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex invoices across multiple service lines
- Manage accounts receivable ledger with precision and timeliness
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies through systematic analysis
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure contract compliance
- Generate monthly billing reports and performance metrics
- Optimize billing workflows for efficiency and accuracy improvements
- Support month-end closing processes with reconciliations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or professional services billing
- Proficiency with billing software (e.g., Epic, Meditech, or SAP)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
