Responsibilities
- Process Customer Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction.
- Cash Management: Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and ensure strict adherence to security and auditing procedures.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities for savings accounts, CDs, and other banking products.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Problem Resolution: Assist customers with account inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues with ATMs or card readers.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to work with numbers with high accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as required by branch schedules.
