Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Accurately process cash and check deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while maintaining strict cash control standards.
- Customer Service: Build lasting relationships with clients by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and providing exceptional service.
- Transaction Processing: Verify and record financial transactions, ensuring all paperwork and signatures are correct and compliant with bank regulations.
- Product Sales: Identify and cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to all BSA/AML policies and bank security protocols to protect customer assets and the institution.
- Operational Support: Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining a tidy and professional lobby area.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking coursework is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
