Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries regarding account balances, products, and services.
- Manage and balance daily cash drawers and reconcile terminal reports to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce new banking products and services to customers.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank security protocols and compliance regulations (e.g., BSA/AML).
- Assist in the maintenance of the branch lobby and lobby equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, FISERV).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
