Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and service requests.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our suite of banking products and services.
- Maintain accurate cash balances and reconcile daily settlements to ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Assist with branch security procedures and safeguard customer information and assets.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous banking or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy bags of cash.
- Proficiency in using standard computer software and bank teller machines (TMS).
- Must pass a background check and credit check as per bank policy.
