Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to build lasting, positive relationships.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet branch sales goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure full compliance with bank regulations and audit standards.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, loan payments, and safe deposit box access.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace for both staff and visitors.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to branch management or specialized departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Proficiency in using computerized banking systems and POS terminals.
- Ability to obtain necessary banking certifications and background clearances.
